Has anyone hacked their motorola v710 to post MMS messages to an alternative
gateway, thus enabling free usage of MMS messages and free wireless picture
transfers per the instructions of
http://www.nuclearelephant.com/projects/smilgw/?
If you do have this working, how hard is it to hack the seem bits in the
v710 which allow you to post MMS messages to an alternative destination, can
you post pre-modified seem files so we won't have to hex them ourselves? is
anyone else running alternative MMS servers besides nuclear-elephant which
we can log into?
for those of you who do have this working, what does your verizon bill look
like? say you transfer a picture from your phone wirelessly to an e-mail
address, are you only being charged "air time" for the time you are sending
packet data over the network, or are you being charged the 25 cent fee as
well?
