how to sync v600 calendar to Palm Desktop

How best to sync to Palm Desktop?
Motorola does not say it supports this.
Third party products are generally trashed in the online
reviews, including TrueSync and DataPilot. (Can they
be as buggy as people are saying??)

Well that would be good, but Motorolla does not list the
Palm Desktop as supported, just LookOut and Notes.
Is this an oversight on their part?
