On the phone, just push and hold "C" to go to silient mode. Start up the
camera and there should be no shutter sound. :')

A lot of people seem to be confusing this phone and the k700i with the
t610 and phones on the earlier firmware. If the phone has firmware of
R2L or later on k700i or its the new s700, you will not be able to
mute it as the firmware has been designed to stop this feature being
used to discourage the use of camera equipment in places where it
shouldnt be used (making sure everyone is aware that a picture has
just been taken).
