When I googled it I was seeing quite a few people with the same question. Maybe
you're better off having access like that with a cable connection, as opposed to
people on PC's trying to access their cell phones. If it were easy for you to do
that, it may make it easier for someone you don't want to get access?

Problem solved. I discovered that the Hot Sync software for my Palm PDA was trapping the same port that the Bluetooth was using, even though the Palm uses a cable. I disabled Palm's Hot Sync and I am now able to connect to my phone with PC Studio.
