Default Is it possible to used 2 Bluetooth Headphones Simultaneously on One Phone?

My wife and I want to use her Sony Ericsson W800I as a music player
for dancing, each of us with headphones.

Does Bluetooth support this sort of scenario?

If not, does anyone have any suggestions for 2 wireless headsets
using any technology?

Thanks.

No. The phones are way too stupid and slow. I have a brand new
MotoROKR Z6M BT phone. It's too stupid to talk to my Nokia N800
internet tablet on BT DUN while connected to my MotoROKR S9 BT
stereo headset, simultaneously.

They only connect to ONE BT at a time that I know of.

Isn't it ironic that the same ISPs that are telling you
you're downloads threaten their networks......
.....are testing 100Gbps TV to sell on the SAME systems?

My Nokia N70 will pair with my HS-3W headset and Sync with my computer
via Bluetooth at the same time. So with the right phone it may well be
possible. As for Motorola, they can't do anything right.

Can your Nokia pair with two headsets at once and broadcast the same
audio to both?

No?

Perhaps Nokia can't do anything right either...

Not easily. The Bluetooth stack supports essentially a set of peer to peer
protocols, i.e. 1 transmitter to 1 receiver. To get it to work would
probably require multiple BT adapters on the transmitting device.

FM radio- something like this although you will need a diferrent connector
for the audio:

and a headset each

I have never tried. I will have to give it a go when I catch up with
someone else that has a Bluetooth headset.

Thanks Mark, that was the sort of information I was looking for...

I did finally stumble across a FAQ at the Sony Ericcson website that
specifically stated that "Sorry,Listening to songs on a Bluetooth
Headset is not possible with this phone." (that is not a verbatim
quote...)

After my (limited) research, I suppose that's because the phone
doesn't provide/support A2DP or AVRCP protocols which seems to be in
the wording of many of the BT Headphone blister packs I have looked
at....

Well... we have ditched using the phone for our music, so I'm off to
search for some sort of "Music Box" (ipod, or whatever)

Thanks again for your input!
