Question MSN Messenger, web cam, and internet connection problem.

Hello:

I configured a home LAN of 3 computers (A, B, C). Computer A connects to the internet with a 56K modem (Dial-Up). The other 2 (B, C) connetcs by configuring "Default Gateway" to IP Address of computer A. It works OK.

I just buyed 2 webcams (Kozumi, USB) for the computers B and C. It works fine with MSN Messenger. But after a while using a camera with MSN Messenger (less than 5 minutes), all of the computers can't navigate on the internet (including computer A). Only the computer on the messenger with the camera (B or C) can chat, but not navigate. I tried a "ping www.hotmail.com" and get unknow host. I think its imposible to reach the DNS server. When the camera is stopped, all returns to normal, and the computers can navigate and read email etc.

All the 3 computers have Windows XP Professional and MSN Messenger 6.2. The computer A connects direct to internet with a 56K modem, and has the Windows XP standar Firewall.

¿What is the configuration problem? ¿Why can't I navigate on Internet after a while a camera is started with MSN Messenger?

Thanks.

I might be wrong, but I think that the camera is hogging the Bandwith. My computer used to do that until we upgraded to a Boradband connection.

Hope that helps
